An unforgettable day where we had to run 2 banquets back to back on the same day for the same couple!

When Chong Zheng and Weiting first came to us with this request, we were challenged!
Thank you for entrusting us with the planning and coordination of both Lunch and Dinner on the same day. Timeline's tight, challenging, tiring but we did it together hand in hand with the couple!
Being an entrepreneur, Weiting wanted a stress-free wedding so she don't have to do what's she's always doing at work for her wedding. We had 10months to plan the two banquets with different vibe and style!
Lunch had to be grand and formal in Rustic Blush and Champagne Gold where Dinner was intimate and cosy with Navy Blue, Burgundy and a touch of Gold.
With great assistance from Regent's Event Manager Ziya and her team, everything was smooth.

Last year we had the honour to collaborate with PHKA Studio, a Thailand based design studio. Their works are amazing and many of you have been enquiring. In CZ & WT's wedding, we worked with PHKA Studio to build the backdrop structure complemented by Florals from Meadows & Clouds.
For those couples who are interested to have PHKA Studio design your wedding, here's how it works.
The first step is to determine the style, colour and theme by discussions with the couple on their preferred theme & favourite colours, likes & dislikes, hobbies etc. Thereafter, a first draft of mood board with 2-3 options will be given base on the information collection.
Once you’ve selected on the mood board that you prefer and wish to proceed further, we'll collect a deposit for PHKA to proceed to develop the Conceptual Design with detailed costings. This deposit can be offset from the final costings if you decide to go ahead and engage PHKA Studio.
If you decided not to go ahead with the engagement, the deposit will not be refunded. Upon development of the CD and review of the costing, client is able to choose and pick which area they wish to proceed or drop. A maximum of 3 changes can be made to the CD.
As the couple had lots of important guests that day who are celebrities, not only our styling has standout, our programme has to be entertaining too! We had Henry from YES933 who happen to be the bride's poly classmate to co-host with Benita from GC Live Music!
The guests were serenade by the angelic voices of David & Benita from GC Live Music.

After the luncheon, the turnover is crazy, while tearing down at Regent, we had another team to set up at EMPRESS while the couple get ready to wash up, change and take a breather before heading down for Dinner banquet.
Navy Blue with Burgundy and Gold was their theme, designed and styled by 8Dec.
It's been an incredibly wonderful journey planning for Chong Zheng and Weiting's wedding and we are always grateful that we became friends with our clients along the way!
